Product Overview

Our MHK Whites™ deliver superior whiteness, opacity and outdoor weather resistance. We can customize different white tones (blue-white, pure white, cream white and more) for applications requiring clean, opaque white and a perfect surface finish — food bottles/caps, medical devices, electronics, sheet, wire and cable, film and household goods.

What Is White Masterbatch?

White masterbatch uses rutile titanium dioxide as the primary pigment in a carrier matched to the base polymer. At 20% to 75% TiO2, it provides excellent opacity and whiteness even at low addition rates, while advanced dispersion technology eliminates fisheyes, streaks and uneven whitening. Rutile TiO2 is preferred over anatase for its superior opacity, weather resistance and thermal stability.

Key Benefits of White Masterbatch

  • Complete production process ensuring color consistency
  • Excellent dispersion with no fisheyes, streaks or agglomeration
  • Uniform distribution at low addition rates
  • Weather-resistant formulas for long-term outdoor use
  • Food-grade packaging compliant with FDA and EU regulations
  • Low-temperature processing compatibility for heat-sensitive resins
  • Custom requirements and functional additive blends (antibacterial, antistatic, UV, etc.)

Technical Highlights

We operate two advanced continuous internal mixers with automatic metering extruders, achieving 80 tons of daily capacity. Automation ensures precise component ratios and superior dispersion, allowing the TiO2 to reach its optimum performance.

How to Choose the Right White Masterbatch

Choosing the right white masterbatch depends on your opacity target, polymer type and cost constraints.

  • For film, choose high-dispersion grades to prevent pinholes and streaks
  • For maximum hiding power, choose 70%–75% TiO2 content
  • For outdoor products, choose weather-resistant grades with UV stabilizers
  • For food contact, specify FDA or EU 10/2011-compliant formulations
  • For cost-sensitive applications, balance TiO2 loading with filler options

Typical Applications

White masterbatch is widely used in shopping bags, injection molded parts, film, caps and closures, white pipe and masterbatch dilution. It is also essential as a base whitener before adding light colors to ensure vivid, consistent final shades.

Key Features
